So today we watched a video in EPI about Walmart, and to tell you the truth Walmart really sucks. Walmart does not give benifits and they mistreat their workers on an inhumane level. The reason the prices are so low at Walmart is because the workers are vigorously overworked, and they are extremely underpaid. Walmart does not allow the union into the work place because they do not want anyone that will fight for thee rights of the workers. If people attempt to rally and get better working conditions they are fired, and quickly replaced. Walmart is able to hire a replacement for anyone they fire because they glamourize their orginization, by threating workings to speak highly of them or to be punished. Many people can not speak up because despite the horrible treatment and pay Walmart is their means of survival.
